Teachers in the UK to recieve 5.6 million to improve technology knowledge
Teachers in the UK will benefit from £5.6 million from the government to improve technology skills. The money will be used to increase technology skills from primary schools to secondary schools.
It is important that the young students in the UK keep up to date with the latest technology developments, so they don’t get left behind. A technology learning scheme was created and launched by the Open University and will be available for all teachers to take part in no matter what the subject course.
It is important for all teacher to have good IT skills as the world is becoming more and more technology based. Students today use technology like Facebook, ipods, Youtube and Google on a very regular basis. The aim of the new programme is to enable the UK to have a world class technological learning environment and a unique approach for delivery ICT in our educational facilities.
