New Jersey Teenagers spend 57% of their time using technology

The new digital decade has changed the way that teenagers read and listed to music, most teenagers these days won’t play games in the street or go to the library. They spend more than 57% of their time on watching TV, going on the internet or playing on their Playstation

A survey in New Jersey stated that half of the people they studied were connected electronically to the world for more than 5 hours a day. This number is set to rise especially in the summer where students have more free time

Education bosses will need to develop new strategies to get young people fit, and out of their bedrooms. However even when the youth of today go outside they will be on their mobile device like the Ipod or Iphone, this may stop young people getting into art or nature as they simply will be connected to the world the whole time!

Young people today will have been brought up with technology, and will spend countless hours in cyberspace. But with this has an important aspect of development been lost, I think perhaps this is true
