Nasa to provide education funding for museums
Nasa recently announced that they will be funding education by putting money into several US science centers and museums. In fact there will be over $6 million available.
The proposal will use NASA resources to help further enhance the existing education programs in the museums. NASA is unique in the fact that they have excellent facilities and data, and have some of the worlds best known scientists.
NASA does already provided interested students access to needed educational resources including thousands of images all available free of charge to the public. This is a great funding opportunity for Nasa and gives students in education the chance to enhance their science, engineering and mathematics skills which are all related to NASA missions and careers.
